With its debut vintage in 1999 Kooyong set the standards for the Mornington Peninsula. Recent vintages have maintained their lofty status. Natural yeast ferments and an absence of malolactic allows the citrus fruit to shine with grapefruit and mandarin peel being prominent. The finish is highlighted by persistent acid and a hint of citrus pithiness.
