After working with luminaries of the Sydney wine retailing scene Alex Head decided to make wine. Over the past twenty years he has made some wonderful wines. This Rose, not as serious as Alex’s reds is a sheer joy to drink. Made from lightly pressed Grenache the aromas are a heady (excuse the pun) mix of floral, spricy and juixy fruit. The palate has plenty of body yet still retains a lightness and the finish is dry and tingling with acid. This is a wonderful wine to match with spicy food.
